Hello Group! WinToolZone continues to spelunk Rotor and brings to you source code
that helps you learn .NET internals better from the eyes of Rotor. When the source
code installed, followed by a recompilation of Rotor, it will implement native support
in Rotor's Framework Class Library such that the ThreadPool class shall support a new
IncreaseMaxThreads static method prototyped as shown below (C# version): public
static bool IncreaseMaxThreads(int workerThreads); You can then use this method to
dynamically change the number of threads, programmatically, that the Rotor runtime
shall maintain in its thread pool. This is particularly useful when your application
needs to have a control over the maximum number of threads in the thread pool, which
is not supported by the standard Rotor source, or the commerical .NET framework
version in a completely managed manner (ICorThreadPool is the unmanaged way).
Download the source code from http://www.wintoolzone.com/showpage.aspx?url=rotor.aspx
or from WinToolZone's Rotor spelunking web at: http://opsupport.sscli.net/ Your
comments are welcome, as always. Mail them to me @ [EMAIL PROTECTED] Cheers :)
