----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on BDOTNET
----------------------------------------------------------- From: Rites Message 1 in Discussion Hi! Guys, I hope I am at the right place and putting my question in a right way. I have created webservices using ASP.NET WebServices. Now, I need to set reference to it in ASP.NET WebApplication, right? For that, whenever I goto "add web reference..." option, and give URL as http://localhost/myWebService/myWebService.vsdisco It always display xml file in left pane and displays 'no web service found' in right panel with link to help. I am using IIS server on XP prof. WITHOUT network connection. I don't need to set for proxy, right? Help always take me to the setting of proxy which is not true in my case. Even in my browser (IE 6 on XP Prof.) whenever I give the same URL it shows the contents of .vsdisco file in XML format. So, what else can be the reason? Why I am not able to set reference? Please help..... Thanking You, Ritesh. ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/BDOTNET/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
