This means that the user can retrive a row of values entered for a particular field. These values populate the form. THe problem Im facing is that the page has drop down lists on it for some fields. For eg there is a drop down list for organism type and there are around 10 different types of organisms. I can get back the organism type selected by the user, but what i want to do is, to let the selection show the value retrieved. Ie, i want to set the selected item to the value presnt in the datarow. also does anyone have any good links to articles explaining how we can populate a dropdownlist from within an editable datagrid?
