Hi sujay  I think this is the complete solution of yr problem. just call
this function on yr submit button event or window close event.    
private void ShowSavedDetails() 
{ 
string strScript=""; 
strScript = "<Script Language=JavaScript>" ; 
strScript += "window.opener.navigate('put yr parent window name');" ; 
strScript += "</Script>" ; 
lblRefresh.Text = strScript;  
} 
pur a label in yr .aspx file with visibility false with the name
"lblRefresh" or any thing that u want.
