This is required especially for web applications. 1.Say 'dcomcnfg' on your command prompt or start >> run, click 'No' if you are prompted with any dialog boxes. 2.Go to the Applications Tab, and choose Microsoft Excel,click on Properties, Microsoft Excel App Properties will pop up. 3.Click on 'Identity' tab and select 'This user' radio button and give a administrative user account here (see screen shot attached) 4. Also go to the 'Security' tab and select 'Use Custom Access Permission' and 'Use Custom Launch Permission' and click on edit button.
