And I am not able to understand the comparision made with the Oracle ROWID out here ... And so is the work around ... If you can post the SQL script then I may be in a position to comprehend I think ... Not sure here also ... I strongly recommend that you not write a trigger that is so genric and tries to find the PKey every time the trigger is fired ... This might turn out to be a big performance degradation ... I am sure that you may atlast come with a solution that is interim ... But in the long run to maintain such applications and upgrading such work arounds becomes a nightmare for the implementors ...
