----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on BDOTNET
----------------------------------------------------------- From: Manoj Message 3 in Discussion Hi, What exactly do you mean by "do some tasks after definite Intervals"? Do you mean pinging a queue if a message has arrived or something and then do some activity when that happens? If so, MSMQ Triggers are just fine and you can use a COM component or an executable to handle the message as and when it arrives. If you intend to use a NET component, I suppose you will need to create a CCW for that as the Trigger rule can call only a COM component. MSMQ Triggers, itself runs as a service which provides some easy configuration capabilities. Use a custom windows service only if MSMQ triggers cant satsify your requirement.
