Hi ,

        Attending teched ?

Willing to write about your teched experiences ? ....

This can get really interesting and a good resource for others. At
developer/technology events like TechEd a lot things keep happening simultaneously and
the laws of nature dont allow anyone to be at all of them! So its very much obvious
that you might miss out on some things and you wont ever know what you missed. These
could be small things like - a contest, a beta software, a session etc to bigger... No
official daily report from the event organisers can cover all of it either. I am sure
individual write-ups/blog can go an extent in filling this gap.

TechEdBloggers.net is a nice intiaitive towards consolidation of such
writeups/blogs in one place. Have a look and you get to read teched experiences of
speakers, attendees etc at other teched locations.

By now, if you are set to dive to it, here you go:

                1. Register yourself for a blog. You can many on the net but you save
of searching, you can look at blog-city.com, rediffblogs.com, blogger.com and you will
get a url like rajspace.blog-city.com .

                2. I use blog-city and once you register, you get some easy-to-use web
interfaces to add entries to your blog. These start appearing in your blog and you are
done! as simple as that. Other blog service providers will work very much like this.

                3. Just get on the net and make entries whatever whenever...

                4. blog-city.com and rediffblogs give you a RSS feed url for you blog.
(RSS feed is simply an XML file which has your blog entries. As you add blog entries,
both your web-based blog and this RSS fee are updated). RSS feed url would look like
http://rajspace.blog-city.com/rss/default.rss

                5. Goto TechEdBlogger.net and use the "Add Your Blog" link to register
your blog with appropriate details.

If you already have a blog, directly get on to techedbloggers.net

Now, if you wondering what you gain:

                1. Primarily, a platform-indepedent medium to voice your opinions.

                2. Share with fellow attendees your experiences and what they probably
missed at TechEd.

                3. For those who couldnt attend TechEd for whatever reason, your
writeup/blog can form interesting reading.

                4. A good number at techedbloggers.net under techedindia can increase
the visibility of india community with the rest of the world.

                5. Depending on the interest among members and discussion with UG
managers, we may have a seperate section in our UG home with consolidation of the
teched experiences.

                6. Lastly, a feedback to Microsoft! :)

Please share your thoughts and opinions. For any help, you can drop a
mail to me to mailme_at_rajspace.org

Cheers!
