----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on BDOTNET
----------------------------------------------------------- From: mail2dolly Message 1 in Discussion Hi, I need some help with this. I have a page that has a field which is to be validated against a Regular Expressoin to contain say alphabets, numbers and '*' only. Now depending on the users locale, the validation is to be done in his language settings. Does .NET Reg Ex provide a function wherein a RegEx can work on the specified languages and validate? For eg. If I select XX0* as my pattern where X is alphabet in the language (A-Za-z in English), 0 is 0-9 and * is the character '*' is to be used to validate a user entered value. In US-EN Ab7* would succeed whereas B%7* would fail. I want to knwo about other languages.. Thanks, Dolly ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/bdotnet/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
