I want to distribute this component to other people. I have created MSI file and distributed the component , and the component is working fine. All client PCs are refering my component. Here i have three basic queries. 1. How to specify the server name dynamically (because if any changes the server name or moving my components to other server I have to ship MSI file to the clients. I want to avoid this step). 2. If I want to pass server information to my client with out MSI file Is it possible? if Yes, how please let me know. 3. If my client PC doesn't have COM+ services. How my MSI File recognize my Server Path. ( As I have observed while installaing MSI file the copy of the component is getting installed in my Local PC).
