Hi
Viper,
    Good question :) Dirty
trick for this is catch the exception in webservice.. return proper code[say
some integer] back, and if the code is known one, then show the exception
you want to show on client side.
    Have a great day
:)

Hi samier,

    I am developing an n-tier
application in vb.net with webservices . my client will call
webservice and webservice intern calls business objects.now my
business object will throw user defined exception i.e
applicationException. Now I want to handle this
applicationException at client end. When business object is
called through webservice it adds soap exception to
applicationException .I dont want this to happen .I want only
pure application exception at client end.

 <o:p></o:p>

Is this possible?how?

regards,
