Hello Manjunath, Hope the following code snippet would
help you.for the code to work u need to install Microsoft.Data.odbc namespace and its
corresponding types. if you are using .net framework v1.1 you already have it.In
addition you also need to have Mysql odbc driver. 'code for connecting to MYSQL
database from Asp.net page using ODBC.NET Data Provider.
con = New OdbcConnection("DRIVER={MySQL ODBC 3.51
Driver};SERVER=dass;UID=root;PASSWORD=;DATABASE=Libtest;")
ada = New OdbcDataAdapter("SELECT author_code_sk,author_name FROM lib_author
