Hi   I tried copying ur code and testing with two rows of data in the grid.  it goes 
into the loop twice properly,  as it should.....   As Ramaprasad said, using foreach 
is better coz of performance considerations,  but IMO there is nothing syntactically 
and logically in ur loop logic!!!   One posibility is that you are getting some 
exception inside the loop and swallowing it in a calling function.  Put a breakpoint 
in the for loop and step through...     regards,   sr
