Hi All, I am using stored procedures in my C# application. The Stored procedure is
an parameterized one, also uses joins. It returns an string value. Following is the
code Iam using in my C# application to get an output from stored procedure:
SAMCmd.Parameters.Add("@Profile_Name",SqlDbType.VarChar,50);
SAMCmd.Parameters["@Profile_Name"].Direction = ParameterDirection.Output;
SAMConn.Open();
SAMCmd.ExecuteNonQuery();
string strProfile;
strProfile = Convert.ToString(SAMCmd.Parameters["@Profile_Name"].Value);
MessageBox.Show(strProfile);
But when I run the application, Iam getting empty message box i.e., nothing is
displayed.
But I tested the Stored Procedure in my Query Analyzer, its working fine there, I mean
perfectly displaying the out parameter,
Why it is not showing me anything in the message box.
Can anyone help me in this regard, its bit urgent.

Cheers
GodsThrone
