 Hi!   If you plan to work with legacy COM/ActiveX components from your .NET based 
applications, then you got to know COM. If you plan to write servicedcomponents, then 
you got to have your COM and COM+ fundamentals clear.    Finally, do you plan to talk 
with distributed components? If yes, then you will be using Remoting and to understand 
how Remoting benefits over DCOM, you sure should know DCOM (although its optional if
