Balajee,
1. You can do this in
ASPX page itself. Create a command object .. connect do database, execute the
stored procedure.. and then get the patient
data.
2. If you want to modularize
a bit, then add a class to the project and put ur function in it and call it
from aspx code behind page and use it
3. If you want to make a
component out of it.. still fine. create a class library, put ur functions in it
and compile. add a reference to web application. use it in code behind
page
In all these cases, you can reuse the code of
webservice if u have it.
Hope that helps. If
u are still in doubt mail back with specific
query.
Have
a great day:)

Dear Pooran,
The thing is now the Application is using XMLWebServices to
get the data.....
The XMLWebServices uses a WebMethod called GetPatientData
which gets patientnumber and this uses a Stored procedure
to get
the patient information from the table.
This Returns patients
data with a ":"
seperated Strings.
So Now I
need to remove the XML WebServices and want to use
a simple function that gets the patient number and this is
passed to the sprocedure and get the
result.........
This is the
requirement.........
Tell me how
can i do it.........
