1. What is the scope of the Global Assembly Cache, is it
global to the machine or its global to the domain/intranet?
Answer: it is global to the machine.
2. If I have to access an assembly from the GAC from some
other machine in the local intranet/Internet, how do I do that? With
DCOM, I can use RDS from a VB client to do that, but how do I acheive
the same with assembly?
Answer: U can use .Net remoting to load(not explicitly) an assembly from GAC
of another machine.
Cheers,
Raesh Ravuri

1. What is the scope of the Global Assembly Cache, is it
global to the machine or its global to the domain/intranet?
2. If I have to access an assembly from the GAC from some
other machine in the local intranet/Internet, how do I do that? With
DCOM, I can use RDS from a VB client to do that, but how do I acheive
the same with assembly?
I beleive that I will have my answers soon.
