By extraction of data, I presume that you need to "restore" the contents of the dump 
files. SQL Server dump files are usually formed by taking a backup of a database. You 
can extract the data from these backups by using the RESTORE DATABASE command or by 
using the Enterprise Manager tool that comes with SQL Server.   Enterprise Manager is 
the recommended approach, since you have a wizard based screen that guides you through
