Hi
Ambrose,
ASP.Net separates Model
from Controller [part of MVC Pattern];
so we have code behind files. When u compile the project, the
code behind is compiled and made as dll. So, when you deploy you need
not include code behind files. So, any code change in Code behind will
not be reflected if the project is not
compiled.
Coming to your second doubt
about not using VS.Net.. you need to compile
the project using the command
line :)
Hope that works
Have a great day
:)

Hi all,
I have created a ASP.NET Project with some aspx files which
will create .cs files with that. It also created a dll in bin
directory with the Project Name.
Is there any relation between this dll and code behind or
When and where this dll with the Project Name will be
used.
when I change some thing in the Code Behind File, Its not
working without building the Application.why? If I don't
have the Editor (VS.NET) How can I build the Application.
Any Link in the Net will be helpful for me.
Thanks
Anandraj
