Hi !
whenever a row is changed you can update a
particular row in a dataset (that row u can get by keeping the id of the rows in
some hidden server field and on the click of the serverside button based on this
id get the row from the dataset and update that row).. Once the user is done
with the modifications .... on final submit... while saving the rows in the
database using dataset.. get all the rows which are modifed using the rowstate
property. Thus u will get a new dataset with only the rows modified (including
changed and newly added) and send that dataset to the dataadapter.. dataadapter
based on the rowstate will automatically fire either insert or update
statements... and thats the beauty of ADO.NET ;)

Regards
Badal

I wanted a help on Datagrid in
                .Net.

                I have created a Editable
Datagrid with Databound server controls like Labels and
                Textboxes.

I need to update the database with the
changes made in the Datagrid on click of a button (server
                control).

How can I track the rows (multiple)
                changed and update the database?

                Shashi
