The SimtelNet collections where an all time 
favourite. As a matter of fact I used to think that there was more dos based 
code available freely out there that everything else put together. 
 
Another one I used to visit was ftp://x2ftp.oulu.fi/pub/msdos/ - 
i doint know if they are still around, its been many years.
