Hi, I have a excel (Office 2000) file which has two fields. One is numeric primary
field and the other is the text field (with some records more then 10000 chars in each
cell). I need to import these data's to SQL server 2000. I tried these steps 1.
Direct import in SQL server. It gave problem and said that buffer size is low for
the second column even though I gave the type as text. 2. Tried to save the excel
file as .CSV file and imported from it. It wrote '####' if the field length is
more. Same thing in tab delimited format 3. tried to import the data to access and
then to SQL. the data trimmed around 255 chars. How can I get the data from
this excel file? Any pointers or links is highly appreciated --- n'joy, rajKumar
