hi Vadivel & San, Thanks for your help......I am clear now.. I need one more
help....... I am displaying the alert msg from the asp.net code behind so now i need
to display the error value along with the msg..... see the code strValue =
CDbl(ColValue)
If some condition then

I want to display StrValue along with the alert msg.
