----------------------------------------------------------- From: Soumitra2105 Message 6 in Discussion Hi , We have a web application The Business tier is in COM+ (.Net based -- EnterpriseServices) Now we have one class called sequence which runs in a tranasactional context [Requires Tx] ,this class generates sequence numbers Our problem is that We cannot use private contructor is it in COM+ We cannot use static as it interferes with transactions and COM+ So we used Mutex , but we are still getting exceptions ,on the uniqueness of keys ... so what i require is a component ,calls to which are synchronised such that no two objects make an overlapping call i.e. the numbers generated are unique.
