Hi Ambrose,   You need to know the assemly file of the class. Then you can load the 
assembly in memory and u can get the type. The code(VB) lines are given below    
Dim asm As System.Reflection.Assembly 
asm = System.Reflection.Assembly.LoadFrom(AssemblyFile) 
dim objType as System.Type=asm.GetType(strClassName) 
U can try using  GetExecutingAssembly and other methods of  System.Reflection.Assembly 
object to get a reference to assembly in case u are not aware of the assembly file
