Hi, can any one give me a solution for the scenario described below, I need a
clarification towards working in Dataset which i couldn't find an answer so far...
In a scneario where we have a server with multiple clients. At each clinet side
application(.net application) was coded in such a way that any updation towards a
table will happen Initially at the dataset (at client side) and then a final updation
will happen in the database from dataset. If i want to find the concurrency of data
how will i handle it. that is, If one user updates a record (updates data in the
database from dataset) and at the same time another user also updates the same record
with different values.( at the same time probably after few seconds ) Data saved by
the first user will be overwrittien when the second user updates his data, Both of
them are working in a disconected environemnt the second user is not aware that first
user has changed the data. Is there a way in Dataset so that the records updated by
one user will be intimated to another user in some way??? Thanx, Bala
