Preethi,
One simplest way is to use frames. Use one index.htm with frames and always
display your files under one of the frames. Use KeepFrames script from
[ http://www.webreference.com/js/column36/forcing.html ] in each of these pages.
Disable right click on
the pages. User will always feel that he is getting index.htm
always!
