Hi,

A starters question:
We were trying to have two applications, one developed in Java and other in .NET to
talk to each other WITHOUT webservices. Inter-Java talks go through fine.

But then we seem to be stuck on how to proceed with .NET, since from what little we
have seen, we have to expose the methods as web-methods and route all SOAP requests
as webservices (we would like to avoid this due to the overheads incurred).

Is there a simper way to get this inter-op going? I am not too sure if HTTPChannel via
.NET remoting will solve the problem either (Not too sure) !!

Any help / directions will be of great help.

Thanks
