Hi Sayad, Look @ my code using System.Data.Odbc; string constring =
"Driver={Microsoft ODBC for Oracle};DSN=test_dsn;UID=system;PWD=marlabs";
OdbcConnection Conn = new OdbcConnection(constring);
Conn.Open();
OdbcCommand comd = new OdbcCommand();
comd.CommandText = "Select * from balaji";
OdbcDataReader myDReader;
comd.Connection = Conn;
myDReader = comd.ExecuteReader ();
while(myDReader.Read())
{
Response.Write(myDReader.GetValue(1));
}
Conn.Close();
I have created a database and a table called balaji and three rows are there in the
table. but when i try to run this code I am not getting the result...... so I
tried to print myDReader.RecordsAffected it prints -1. So it is not fetching the
records,but there are rows in the table. can anybody tell what could be wrong in
