Hi srinivas,   Thanks for your reply, i am sorry that i have not explained my 
requirement properly, It is right that the both the solution (read uncommitted and 
nolock) will give me uncommitted data which is risk to data integrity, all i want is 
if one of the transaction is updating the data then other transaction should be able 
to read the last committed data not the uncommitted data, please let me know can i 
handle this in sql, as i don't want go read uncommitted isolation level.  However to 
take care data loss i am using time stamp method while updation.   thank you shekhar
