Hi,

Thanks for the reply but I have got the
solution I have inherited the ContainerControl and all the things are going
well. I have one more problem please see the below code which I am using for
painting a gradient into a picturebox, the problem is when the picture box is
small say 200x200 the gradient is smooth and good looking when I changed the
picturebox to 800x600 the gradient looks worse, can u please tell me how to
solve this problem

Private Sub PictureBox1_Paint(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As
System.Windows.Forms.PaintEventArgs) Handles
PictureBox1.Paint

Dim reg
As New
System.Drawing.Region

Dim path
As New
System.Drawing.Drawing2D.GraphicsPath

Dim rect
As
System.Drawing.Rectangle

rect = New
System.Drawing.Rectangle(PictureBox1.Location, PictureBox1.Size)

Dim col
As New
System.Drawing.Color

Dim br
As New
System.Drawing.Drawing2D.LinearGradientBrush(rect, col.FromArgb(160, 160, 160),
col.FromArgb(150, 150, 150),
System.Drawing.Drawing2D.LinearGradientMode.Vertical)

reg.GetBounds(e.Graphics)

e.Graphics.FillRegion(br, reg)

End
Sub

                Hi,
as far as i understud u have compiled ur user
control and ur trying to drag some more other controls after
placing the user control on the form. I don't think it will
support it directly. What u can do is write a method which can
add controls dynamically.Hope this helps u.

                regards,
                Akshit
