Hi We are facing the problems in Session handling in our application.
1. The static content is present in a server in UK. The static content consists of
several pages. There is menu in the top frame as part of the static content.
2. The dynamic content(our application) is present in a server in a different
location.
3. The dynamic content is invoked by clicking on a link on the menu in static content.
The application runs in the bottom frame. The top frame remains the same and is part
of static content.
4. The application works fine when it is running on its own. However, when the
application is running in the bottom frame, the session variables are lost. This is
happening in an inconsistent manner but fairly frequently.
5. Note that we are using remoting. The Web server, Application Server and Database
Server are running on three different machines. There is no connectivity between Web
Server and Database Server. They communicate only via Application Server only.
Technology: ASP.NET(C# code behind) running on Windows 2000 Advanced Server.
Database is SQL Server 2000 It would be great if someone can help in this regard.
Regards Gaurav
