Hi, I am working in Technology centre of department of posts. In
www.indiapost.org , we are having one application running in asp and sql server
database. Throught india nearly 2500 clients are accessing that site for doing their
customer grievances settling. They will do the data entry ,settling part , reports and
monitoring. Recently the application is not working properly. Speed is reduced
considerably. In this application the oledb connection I am using as below. I am
setting the connection string in Application Variable in the global.asa. In each page
I am telling connection.connectionstring=Trim(Application.contents("Variable"))
Really whether any need of using connection pooling is there? Cpu utilisation is some
times more than 90 %. Please give me a reply. Suresh.P.R Postal Training Centre,
