Hi Keang,   1. A) You need to give write access on the directory where you will be 
storing all the files uploaded by the user. 1. B) You can use a client side script to 
check whether the file selected by the user (for uploading to the web server) is a 
.doc file or not.   2. I also faced a similar problem while working with ASP around 2 
yrs back. You can use any virus scanning program and set its options such that it 
should keep checking for all the files in a particular folder for any viruses. As soon 
as a virus is found, you generally have the option of taking some actions within the 
virus scanner progams. You can set the options such that a mail should be triggered to 
relevant ids and such a file should be deleted. For solution to my problem, I used
