----------------------------------------------------------- From: Neeraj_Bangalore Message 2 in Discussion Try adding " Select @avg" after your "SELECT @avg= SUM(UnitPrice)/COUNT(ProductID) FROM Northwind.dbo.Products WHERE CategoryID = @CategoryID select * from products where CategoryID = 1" statement. And also write another Select statement in the same stored procedure. In your dotnet application, use dataset. And in the dataset, the result of the first select statement , say. select @avg will come in the first table - which you can access as ds.Tables(0) and the result of another select statement ( of the same stored procedure ) will come in another table of the same dataset, which you can access as ds.Tables(1).
