Hi Preethi,
Please try to provide more details. Is it web project or winform project? From
where are you copying/downloading? What is the error that you are getting? That will
help in analyzing.
If you have a web application and you want to create a new application and use the
files.. then you need to copy all aspx, aspx.cs and aspx.res and the bin directory. If
you want to copy and have to make it work, then create a virtual directory with the
same name as that of the exisiting one. Open .csproj/.vbproj to open the project. Most
of the times it works.
First option is the best option. When you are maintaining your project in vss/cvs
keep only aspx, aspx.cs and aspx.res files and any custom classes. Create a project in
developer's machine and add these files for better results.
If you have a winform application, all class files and the .csproj/.vbproj file to
make it work.
