if u want only browser idle time (and not
time taken for data transfer b/w client and server) use setTimeout() along with
onload() onunload()/onsubmit() (or their before counterparts) on client
side. this can be sent to server as hidden text field

Hi Ravi,

to find
out idle time of the browser request. you can store
                sessiontimein in
a session variable and the current time in
                another variable. take the
difference. this can be done in
                application_webrequest event..........this
fires when ever
there is request from the browser......if you want to find

out the exact difference even after session
                timeout...........u can store
session timein a application
variable once the user logs in session
start.......Hope this
                will solve ur problem.

Pawan
                :)
