----------------------------------------------------------- From: GLPrasad Message 2 in Discussion Hi Sateesh, If I would be looking at the approach of your I would look at an enhanced format of your first option i.e., Opening and closing connection as and when required. The enhancement would be the user should have a provision to open a transaction and then operate multiple queries under the same transaction and then close it. That would be an ideal scenario when a sequence of operations need to be completed (you may term it a scenario when you would go in for COM - which is not always required). If you could give the user the above mentioned option, your chance for satisfying a bigger lot stays high. Best o Luck Regards, Prasad G L ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/BDotNet/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
