hi, 

there is a solution for this. All that u have to do in this case is as follows:

 1.) In excel if you use =asc("001234567989") in the formula bar it displays the 
number with Zeros.

2.) When u display this column concatenate it in the follwoing manner: 

=asc(" + <your column value> + ") 

This should work.
