in the design view add this tag under datagrid tag

(bool)(DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem,"DatabaseFieldName")) %>' />
</ItemTemplate>
</asp:TemplateColumn>
during runtime , and when databind occurs , it will evaluate "DatabaseFieldName" and
fill the values accordingly
