Thanks, I found the solution. The problem
was I had not specified the strong name, culture and version info of the type in
the config file. Once I included these details, the page started working
fine.

cheers,
Pradeep

                Hi,

I am using several custom config sections in my
application's web.config file. One of these sections holds
application specific information. I have merged the config info
from a console application's config file and the web
application config file into a single web.config file without
causing any conflit with it's schema. (i.e I have left
system.web section intact). I have added
                several sections outside system.web.

When I run the application, the page shows up fine.
But when I hit a button, which causes one of the assemblies to
locate configuration info, ASP.NET is throwing the exception:
                Exception creating Section
                Handler

I have no clue what's going on? Can anyone help
                me?

                cheers,
                Pradeep
