You can do it in two ways : 1. Use Dataset.ReadXML property to load the entire XML into dataset and then add a row to that table and then save it back by DataSet.Write property. 2. Use the System.XML namespace. Load the XML Document and add the node there and then save it back. There is another way, but I am not sure whether it will suit your requirement or not. Instead of using XML file, use delimitor based simple Text file. And open that file in Append Mode and add the error record there.
