----------------------------------------------------------- From: SeeSharp Message 2 in Discussion Hi Ravi, There are two ways in which I could interpret your question. 1) Can you create an XP (xtended proc) from within the .NET framework? Yes. Use sp_addextendedproc (TSQL) . If I remember right , the syntax is something like sp_addextendedsproc [EMAIL PROTECTED] =] 'function',[EMAIL PROTECTED] = ] 'dllname'. dllname is the name of the dll containing the function. 2)Can you invoke an .NET dll from an XProc? Yes again. Just create a CCW ( Com Callable wrapper ) around the .NET dll. I hope I got the question right :) Regds, Diwakar ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/BDOTNET/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
