Hi, I am creating a localized image resource. The following are the steps I have
followed. ========================================= Step1: Create .resx file from
the image. D:\data\Trials>resxgen /i:Radio.jpg /o:Localized.ImageRes.en-GB.resx
/n:Localized.ImageN.en-GB 'Localized' is the namespace and also the application
name. 'ImageRes' is the Resource Name 'ImageN' is the name of the image object.
========================================= Step2: Create .resources file from the .resx
file for the en-GB culture. D:\data\Trials>resgen Localized.ImageRes.en-GB.resx
Localized.ImagesRes.en-GB.resources ========================================= Step3:
Create Satellite assembly for the image resource. D:\data\Trials>al /t:lib
/culture:en-GB /out:Localized.resources.dll
/embed:Localized.ImageRes.en-GB.resources,Localized.ImageN.en-GB.resources,private
------------------------------------------------- The al.exe throws following message
when I tried to build satellite assembly for this image resource.
--------------------------------------------- Microsoft (R) Assembly Linker version
7.00.9466
for Microsoft (R) .NET Framework version 1.0.3705
Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation 2001. All rights reserved. ALINK: error AL1022:
Error reading embedded resource 'D:\data\Trials\Localized.ImageRes.en-GB.resources' --
The system cannot find the file specified.
----------------------------------------------- But, when I checked the specified
file is present. What might have gone wrong? I was able to build satellite
assemblies succesfully for string resources with the same approach. regards, shashi
