Hi, Am building a custom Web Control. I understand that the advantage of a Custom
Control inheriting from Class "WebControl" is that properties like Style, TabIndex,
ToolTip etc. are already implemented in the WebControl Class. My question is, if a
control inherits from Class "Control" instead of Class "WebControl", then how does
such a control implement the TabIndex property, the Left, Top co-ordinates at design
and run time etc.? My control that inherits from a Control doesnt even move around in
the Designer Window unless I change it to inherit from class "WebControl". I am told
if a Control has inner controls that will do their own HTML rendering then its good to
inherit from class "Control". How do such controls then implement Left, Top
co-ordinates and movement around the Designer? Any input appreciated. Thanks.
SriVidya.
