What I feel is - your last page is getting catched. And when you are trying to come back at that page - It is serving you the last stored page rather than re-fetching the default page from the server. For System with MS 2000 Professionals, Open the IE and Check this out in it : GO to Tools => Internet Options => Settings => Set the option "Check for the newer versions of stored pages" to "Every Visit to the Page". Try if it works for you and revert back.
