Hi Tomy, As Vinod said there is no documented implementation to achieve the same.
But if you still want to do it you can try the following: (I read it somewhere long
back when I was preparing for my cert exam. It is just a implementation without any
performance issue on the queries) * Create a linked server which points to itself :
EXEC sp_addlinkedserver @server='Your_LS_Name', @srvproduct='',
@provider='SQLOLEDB', @datasrc='Your_Server_Name' * Create a view which implements
OPENQUERY statement. (I am using procAuthors stored proc in the pubs database)
CREATE View vwFindAuthors
AS
SELECT *
FROM OPENQUERY(Your_LS_Name, 'EXEC pubs..procAuthors "UT" ') * Execute the
select statement on the view Select * from vwFindAuthors HTH, Regards,
