Hi I got the same problem sometime back and got it solved through our Bdotnet gurus
which i would like to share with you here. How you are appending the apostrophe(') ,
instead of you put this "=ASC(your 13 digit no)" , when you open in excel the leading
zeros will be retained. Rgds
