This happens all the time and not only when we run teh application. The error are like .. """The description for Event ID ( 1011 ) in Source ( Perflib ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. The following information is part of the event: .NETFramework, """"" We get similar errors all pertaining to the .NET Framework. I checked in the microsoft site http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;226494 and there it seems that "Event ID: 1011 " occurs bcoz "Perflib uses LoadLibrary to open performance extensions. If LoadLibrary fails the status code from GetLastError is posted in the data field of the event. For example, 7e means the DLL could not be found or the library Name in the registry is not correct." Which r the DLL's that the .NET Framework is looking for ..? I can send the Event Log file if necesary. And what can I do do to stop this errors from occuring..?
