There are different ways to solve MVC design pattern. I will compare Java with .Net may be this will help U. MVC (Model View Controller) In Java:= Model - Java Bean or an EJB (Enterprise version). View - JSP Controller - Servlet Comparing to .Net u can implement as follows Model - Com+ services of .Net with transaction services, Isolation Level, ..... View - ASP.Net for Browsers, Windows Form for GUI, Mobile web page for Hand Held devices Controller - Class controller ( U can bifurcate business class (bussiness logic), entity class (database queries)) In our company we have implemented a pilot project by following above techniques it works fine. Hope may be it will help U, as i am a AS/400 Java programmer i have not worked much on .Net, only i can compare the technolgies at this point of time.
